Scripture:  4 Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. 5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, (Psalms 25:5,6) NIV

Observation: David's plea to The Lord is simply " Show me your ways".  So often we are caught up with choosing our own way, like that famous song "My Way", that we lose sight of what is important in God's eyes and may not have the "best" of what God wants for us.The world also has a tendency to distract us, lure us, tempt us and even teach us things that may be displeasing to the Lord.  When we accept in our spirit, yield and surrender unto The Lord he will lead us into His paths and truths.

Application:  That moment we recognize that we are truly nothing without God, we position ourselves on a path to be everything our lives should be with God.  I need to daily surrender my life to His will if I want the best of His blessings not only in my life, but to overflow on the people that I am surrounded with.  My obedience to The Lord will also have a huge impact on my Ohana, for when all is said and done it is not about me but my  willingness to love God and others.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, as the scripture stated this morning, "show me your ways" oh Lord.  Help me to respond in obedience to you, guide me and teach me your truth.  Help me to teach others about your ways too as a Pastor.  Make clear the path you have chosen for me while I am still on earth.  I pray for wisdom, courage, strength and health to carry out your will.....to you be the Glory, Honor and Praise....in Jesus name....Amen.
