Exodus 33:14-15 (NIV) 14 The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”15 Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.

Observation:  So often in life we tend to navigate on our own terms and our own way without God.  This also  happens to Christians.  For some reason we get off of God's path for our lives and don't get the BEST of what God has for us.  The scripture tells us that Moses told the Lord  " If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here".  In other words in pidgin: "I no like go if you not going".

Application:  The deeper we Grow in the Lord the more we will recognize that we need God's presence to be where  we are.  We want him helping us to make decisions as a Father, Husband, Mother, Wife, Brother, Sister, Employer, Employee, Community Member, etc...  It's pretty spooky when we venture out and leave God behind.  That doesn't mean God will leave us, but what it means is that we  fall deaf to God speaking to us through His Holy Spirit and do things on our own.  God's Word, prayer and continued fellowship with other believers in Christ will help keep us grounded to know that we need God's presence where ever we venture into.

Prayer:  Lord help me to discern as a Father, Husband and Pastor where you want me to venture out into for your Glory.  I pray you would keep your hand upon me and guide me along the way. I really don't want to go if you are not there...in Jesus Name...Amen
