Scripture:

Psalms 145:13 (NLT) For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations.The Lord always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does

Observation

I am comforted this morning as I read those words " The Lord always keeps his promises" in today's scripture.  There is something within my spirit that sort of went "ahhhhhhhh"... a peace that surpasses all understanding....an assurance that all is well and that we are in good hands.  Sin has entered this world and because of it evil continues to esculate throughout the world. Our compass needs to alway point North (up) towards God when we feel lost or insecure in these days....for it will get darker.  But the Lord always keeps his promises....

Application:

There are so many things in this world that  may disappointed us but God's promises is not one of them....for He keeps it all the time.  God wants the absolute best for us...we just need to recognize it (John 10:10).  The bible tells us that Satan, the enemy, goes around seeking to devour those that have strayed away from God...sort of like a young gazelle or antelope that has somehow gotten away from the herd and later pounced on and killed by a lion.  1st Peter 5:8 tells us: "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."  So no matter what happens we must remember God loves us uncondionally..."for He is gracious in all he does"...

Prayer:

Lord there are so many hurting people in this world...those that have lost hope...those that are lonely...those that are unsettled....those that are depressed, oppressed, frustrated and simply want to throw their hands and give up in life...Lord I intercede this morning for those that feel that way...that the blinds would come off their eyes so they can see your truth clearly and the abundant life you have for them that is reachable...that you would silence the enemy who would want to speak likes into their ears saying they are no good and no sense try....Lord restore hope in them...restore their relationships...restore their passion and desire of the gifts you've given them to glorify you...restore their finances and put them on a road to recovery out of debt...Lord restore them to your promises that you will never leave them or forsake them....Lord do it now in Jesus Name...Amen
