Scripture:

5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

(NIV) 1 Corinthians 3:5-7

Observation:

We all have a part in touching and reaching people for Christ.  We may never know how many encounters a nonbeliever will have with Christians, but we must continue in faith to do so and press onward.  The above scripture reinforces that we are all "servants" for God and that it is only He that makes one spiritually grow.

Application:

Just the other day I had witnessed the power of God's Holy Spirit  touch a person's life in receiving Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Did it matter who got credit for leading the person to Christ?  Not really.  For I truly believe it took many.. many individuals  to help point this person to Christ.  Now I pray that God would help this person grow in Christ.  God is the one that gets the Glory----we just get to have fun along the way sharing this wonderful Gospel.....  How cool is that....

Prayer:

Lord as this day unfolds, thank you for reminding me how good You are and how you love us so much that You are patient....not wanting any to perish.....Thank you Lord for your mercy and compassion that endures forever....in Jesus Name....Amen.
