Scripture: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (NIV) Matthew 6:34

Observation: When we really think about it, "worrying" seems unproductive. It actually causes stress, elevates your blood pressure and gets you no where. It doesn't move you ahead even an inch....yet we still do it. I believe part of it has to do with our tendency of looking at ourselves for the answer and outcome of the situation instead of trusting in God.

Application:  I wonder what is going to happen, what if I did or said the wrong thing, what if they don't like me, will I make it tomorrow, what about the bills, where am I going to get the extra cash or what if...what of...what if...  These are just some of the things that worry us in our lives..  But God is stating in his word to "not worry" but to continue in seeking FiIRST his kingdom. Our trust must be totally in Him!

Verse -33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Prayer: Lord I am comforted that your eyes are upon me each and every day...you see my needs, you see my struggles and you know the very desires of my heart. help me to overcome worry and to Trust you always..every time..all the time...in Jesus name Amen.
