Scripture:  5 “Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares.If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city. Jeremiah 5:5

Observation:  God was so patient and merciful with His people...but no more...evil and dishonesty was too rampant....enough was enough... God planned to send a nation to destroy and take captive the Israelites....

Application:  God sees, hears and knows everything that is going on with His people not only then but today too...the Bible tells us that God looks for people that are honest and seek the truth in Him....We have to ask ourselves as Christians, are we doing that today? Are we doing that at home, at work, in school and in our community?  Those that worship God must do so in spirit and truth. (John 4:24)

Prayer: Lord thank you for reminding me about honesty and truth....help me when I am weak in this area....in Jesus name. Amen.
