Scripture: 6 He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. (NIV) John 21: 6

Observation:  After Jesus' resurrection there were a few times that his own disciples didn't recognize him visibly, this was one of those times.  But after a whole night of fishing and returning to shore the next morning the disciples decided to listen to this man calling from the shore to throw their net on the right side of the boat.  Somehow they recognized him or his voice...and simply listened to him.

Application:  How often do we skate around, taking things in our own hands and doing it our way instead of simply listening to Jesus.  He had shared a lot of wisdom while here on earth to his disciples and those that chose to listen to him. One of his instructions to us as believers is to go out and let others know about God and HIS reign and way of living.  And the hope we have through Jesus Christ to spend eternity with Him.  The instructions is simple, GO........ 

Prayer:  Dear Lord...help me in simply following your instructions for my life to do Your will. Keep your WORD ever so close to my heart...strengthen me in times of weariness...lift me up when things look down....increase my faith so that others may see You through me....help me to endure the path that you have laid out before me....Your will Lord...Your will......in Jesus Name...Amen
