Scripture:33 If only there were a mediator between us, someone who could bring us together. (NLT) Job 9:33

Observation:  Today's chapter reading of Job was one of honesty. Literally laying out all the questions he had on his mind and speaking quite frankly. At times questioning why he was even born. Then towards the latter part of chapter 9 Job wished he had a mediator between he and God that could somehow bring things together.....we have that mediator today, Jesus Christ.

Application: When we have received Jesus Christ into our hearts and lives, he becomes our mediator. Because of him we can go boldly to the throne of God to petition our prayers and worship Him. Because of Jesus Christ' shed blood we are made righteous in the presence of God, our sins are forgiven and we get to spend eternity with the Most High God. Because of Jesus Christ as our mediator I have hope, joy and love to share with others, I have peace and comfort that surpasses all understanding. Because of Jesus Christ I am united and have a restored relationship with God.

Prayer:  Lord I pray for signs and wonders today...let your glory and power reign down in church today. Draw your people closer and closer to you this day...thank you Jesus for being our mediator...in your name I pray...Amen
